The Greater Waukegan Development Coalition is an independent not for profit development corporation whose mission is to foster the development of business and real estate throughout the Greater Waukegan Area. We accomplish this by bolstering the region’s economic ecosystem by providing a variety of programs and events, along with helping current and potential businesses with placement, expansion and retention.

What is the Greater Waukegan Area? The Greater Waukegan Area stretches from IL Route 137 in North Chicago to the Illinois-Wisconsin Border out west to I94 east to Lake Michigan. This includes: North Chicago, Waukegan, Wadsworth, Park City, Beach Park, Zion and Winthrop Harbor as well as parts of Gurnee, Green Oaks, and Libertyville, Illinois.
